Hephaestus - Vulcan

Hephaestus or Vulcan was a Greek god, he is the son of Zeus and Hera, the King and Queen of the Gods - or else, according to some accounts, of Hera alone. He was the god of technology, blacksmiths, craftsmen, artisans, sculptors, metals, metallurgy, fire and volcanoes. Unlike most other gods, Hephaestus was lame, which gave him a grotesque appearance in Greek eyes. He served as the blacksmith of the gods, and he was worshipped in the manufacturing and industrial centers of Greece, particularly in Athens. He married Aphrodite, and some myths claim that begot a son with Aphrodite, Eros (amorous desire), others claim that Eros was the son of Ares and Aphrodite.

He is on the Olympian Council and makes an appearence in "The Apollo Mission" where he casts his vote to Hades out of Zeus and Hades to see who becomes King of the Gods, "The Pool Party" where he goes to Hades's party (actually a scheme to become King of the Gods) and forgets who he is. He appears later trying to break open the locked gate of Olympus, He hates to Hades, for flirting with his wife repeatedly.
